"Average" speeds? - February 14th, 2007, 02:54 PM

Hi,

A few questions I have:

What would be an average downspeed on Azureus client with about 30 seeds and 30 peers?
Assuming the download connection speed is about 4mB/s.

What should I set my upload limit (if at all) if my upload is about 0.5mB/s?

Thanks for your time.

Your upload and download should be set to about 70-80% of your bandwidth.

Your upload should be c. 50KB/s and your download c. 400KB/s or so.

A torrent with 30 seeds and 30 peers should give you close to max download and max upload, it really depends on the generosity of the seeders. Sticking with private sites helps this factor.

Thanks very much for the info.
just a note, I was getting around 100kb/s, so I dunno what is wrong.
The NAT is working, and everything else seems to be fine so probably just the seeders not seeding as much.
