poor download/upload speeds -
February 13th, 2007, 10:30 PM
I recently switched my ISP's to Rogers Cable, and since have had really crappy speeds.
Azureus says my NAT is OK Im using port 61000 My line speed is approx 4400/350 kbps, and have Azureus set according to its "good speed settings" Im using a SMC router, but have all the ports opened properly, and have my IP set to the DMZ. I just uninstalled Norton in the event it was causing the problem, no help there. My only though is i recently disabled the UPnP using a program called Unpnp from http://www.grc.com/unpnp/unpnp.htm I used the same program to enable it again since with no change. Any thoughts? help would be very much appreciated as my dl speed tops at about 5k right now with uploads sitting about the same (very painful knowing i have such a fast line!) Thanks |
