... esslamghaly, make sure your friend's hard has its jumper set to "slave" if you are putting it on the same IDE cable as your PC's hard. You can try using your PC's other IDE channel, setting the jumper on your friend's hard as a "master" as well.

i think i understand what the problem is, the PS2 wont read a standard NTFS filesystem, so thats where your problem lies. you might try google and search for copying PS2 Hard drives. quite likely, your drive isnt even set up to work in a PS2, so even if you had his data, i kinda doubt it will work. im afraid i dont know much about using hard drives in the PS2. i just use swap magic (which works really well BTW).

I'm going to guess that he might also need a modchip. This is just a wild guess as most hacks involve them these days.

hi, im new to this forum and topic, i have a HDD for my ps2 and i am looking for one of these programs
HD Loader HD Advance i need to backup my old ps2 classics, so i want to burn the games onto a harddrive and prevent my classic cds from getting destroyed can someone please help me find a free site where i can download either of these programs and then burn the files to a cd-r or something , then allowing me to use the disc to boot up either of these programs on my ps2 or if someone can copy the contents of their HD cd and upload it online for others to download and rip Thanks ahead of time! |
