is it possible to block leechers? - December 20th, 2006, 05:17 PM

i'm relatively new to bittorent,so i would like to ask a question.is it possible to block leechers or those who hit-and run on torrents?i seed quite abit and am getting tired of leechers who won't seed,but as i said i'm not very experinced with the more techinical aspects of how bittorent works.my client is utorrent,if that's of any help,thanks in advance to anyone who can answer this:icon_thum

Even if they are leeching from you, they are uploading at same time to someone. Some have created leeching mod., but some sites will block them. It is not fair for you to use IP blocker, unless you know it's a static IP address! I'd suggest you use PeerGuardian, to update bad IP addresses who really wishes to do you harm!
