Custom Google Maps for your website - November 13th, 2006, 02:33 PM

Hi everyone

We've been working on a tool that helps you add free, custom Google Maps to your website without the need for any technical knowledge. It's at http://www.aardvarkmap.net and I'd really appreciate any of you taking a look and offering some feedback since it was only launched this month.

I'll check back for any responses.

Thanks

Aaron

Hmmm... no replies. :(

Would really appreciate feedback on this if you wouldn't mind looking. We've had over 10,000 maps created in the first 6 months but always open to suggestions as to how we could improve.

Thanks. :)

It's interesting enough.

I've seen similar products that allow multiple access points so that individuals can log in and edit the map.

I'd also suggest an alternate overlay step to allow people to color-code the various points [or something to that effect] to allow categorization of the points that have something in common.

e.g.

Could be useful - May 7th, 2007, 08:25 AM

It looks good.

I prefer to use something along the vein of GMapEZ, but I can see how AardvarkMap could be useful to the HTML-phobic.

I would suggest adding image support for the marker popups.
