nvidia nv30 -
November 5th, 2002, 11:18 AM
tech-report has a little article about the nvidia nv30 that will be released next year (or late 4th quarter for a lucky few perhaps) as well as a link to a power point presentation on it. its likely all still hype and speculation but nvidia claims it will have twice the "performance" (my qoutation marks) of a Geforce4. but geforce4 what? ah... tricky tricky! if it ends up that its twice the performance of an mx I will get an ati on general principle.

well.. I heard mafia was supposed to be an original concept of a well worn idea at least, but somehow I doubt it. games are like movies, if you watch/play enough of them then they all start to look the same.
but I still want a real nice video card, I think its just a matter of time before you get gaming performance ala geforce and rendering performance like the quadro all in one. maybe the end of '03, who knows. -Oscar Wilde ZeroPaid UD homepage |
