CARP Proposal Rejected - May 21st, 2002, 09:46 AM

The CARP proposal to charge fees for internet broadcasting,
was rejected today by the Librarian of Congess,
based upon the recommendation of the Register of Copyrights.

The final determintion will come on June 20, 2002.

This does not mean we (internet radio broadcasters, listeners, etc.)
have won the battle.
But we are definitely still in the game.

If you want to keep up with everything going on
in the internet radio business,
check out RAIN,
which is the Radio and Internet Newsletter.
It's kept up to date and makes for good reading.

If you switch the "a" and the "r", you get CRAP
Coincidence? I think not…
