I if may quote Nelson from the Simpsons:

HA HAAAAA!

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".

This is just classic...some multi million dollar investment and research and crap to identify the next latest and greatest means of making private mp3's for ones self is defeated by a marker. This must be something out of some comedians joke skit or some movie ...

Thanks $ony for the smiles!

We can only hope so, we can only hope so. Pity that the real people that need to lose their job are up in the executive food chain. Still this is just pretty silly when you think that a local supermarket marker has just defeated the next hi tech ingenuity. To some of you folks out there this is old news or what not...but really...I dont think we can over emphasize just how symbolically this shows just how silly the record companies have gotten.

Peace

Question Where Can I find the article? - June 22nd, 2002, 11:04 AM

The above link is dead. Yahoo took off the story. How did the thing work? Can Someone find the story? Any thoughts?
