Configuring HTTport, HTThost on a Web Server and WinMX - October 21st, 2002, 01:02 PM

Hi everyone!

Heres the lowdown on my situation. I am stuck in campus, without filesharing. I can get connected using WinMX and even perform searches!! But i never ever get a download...

I have tried everything else and although they work... at 2Kb/s??

I have a webserver I paid for to host my club's site. How do i set up HTThost on it?

And as for HTTport, what IP should it connect to?

Can someone please enlighten me?

Thanks In Advance!

.........Htthost is to be installed on a computer outside of your firewalled network or proxy... That turns the computer into a host machine for your computer behind firewall/proxy to connect to through HttPort... Webserver has nothing to do with it. Get a computer outside of your network or ask your friend to let you use his computer as a host. (or, you could pay around 5 bux to use HttPort previleged server)
