DivX player 5.01+5.02 -

Is anyone else having any problems with the DivX players 5.01+5.02? I've ran version 4 as well and keep having the same problems. I've tried watching 'Legally Blonde' and 'Ali G In Da House' DivX versions and I keep getting a serious error occur and my computer reboots! I managed to get half way through Legally blonde before it did it but now it does it all the time. Sometimes the sound is out of sync to the picture too.

I too have had some of the same prob with divx downloads and while I still have not figured out the source of the prob here are a couple of work arounds that have worked 1 have you used a proggie called divxfix it seem to help with sound sync problems 2 it seems that Divx 5.01a is an alpha player that has some bugs and doesnt always work, I have had some sucess with the BSplayer it will run divx when the other one won't you can also find a wealth of NFO at http://www.vcdhelp.com and http://www.cdfreaks.com vcdhelp has tons of helper programs such as divxfix to download and cdfreaks is loaded with info hope this helps :cross ============================ "The program for this evening is not new, you have seen this entertainment through and through, you have seen your birth and life and death.
