I would start by checking the temp folder -

for any suspicious files and delete anything you dont need/ if anything looks suspicious Id delete that too. wait, I guess it could also be something as simple as a really fragmented drive. do you defragment regularly? if you download to your temp file a lot it could just be real fragmented....
I tend to keep my temp file empty except when I am extracting a file or ripping one... if you keep having that problem I would just delete the contents and then empty the recycling bin and run adaware again. there is no such thing as a necessary file any more- except for the obvious I guess- you can always find it again.... especially if you've got a cable modem. :fire -Oscar Wilde ZeroPaid UD homepage |
