is SHA1 hashing with ants possible? -
December 11th, 2004, 09:24 AM
Hi
I studied all the torrent creation tools for bitorrent. Most of them deal with sha1. Because Ants uses as well some kind of torrent protocol, and if there will be a 2. generation BT-plugin or a BT-2.generation app implementing ants, then it would be handy, if Ants is as well using the sha1 hashing scheme additionally. This would offer as well magnet uri handling, and a swaming of the sha1-sahred mediafiles for torrentaid.com created/ hybrid torrents. so is it possible that Jetiants or Hornet gets aasw ell a sha1 hashing like shareaza is creating magnet links ? see for more details: http://www.magnetlinks.org |
