you should know everyone on your mesh and if you set a long password ,make sure you dont bring up direct connections ,use the chaff feature and a few other security settings that are in the tutorial your mesh will be very safe and wont be detected by outside snooping .

Thanks, Im looking for a good alternative to proxies. Nobody is going to stop me from sharing. If my ISP bans me I'll just get sattelite internet.....That will suck for you guys because I think the upload is still limited to 56k. Then you have to share exclusive nobody has this files. Now I just had to shutdown a file with 98% completed ill pick up the final 2% by my proxy chain, this way I cant be accused of posessing the whole file. There's all sorts of little tricks, im growing weary of them and would just like to find an easier way to share!

The Hornet project is trying to intergrate secure chat also.jWASTE might be able to do this also .=

i played with ANTS i do like the secure IRCish chat. i wasnt able to make a connection to any other users or run any search thou. so i quit using it.

the more work anonymouse people(can sourceforge even do this?) put into decentralized systems that are opensource now the better i say. especialy with the cogs of lifeless insitutions attacking servers and coders now
