Good to know. Some people claimed that BT is much securer than other networks but it seems not secure enough...

Dude....Kazaa is actually more "secure" to use than BT. With BT (and emule, edonkey, and others) they can know the second he started downloading the disney film. With Kazaa....if you don't share it after you download it, then they never knew you downloaded it.

Before you use a filesharing program, please understand how the program works.

Calm down. BT is securer than Kazaa because BT consists of hundres of different networks, every download creates an own network this is much harder to overview than one network.

I got a letter for using BT some months ago. Now I just limit what I get with BT and get most new movies elsewhere. Problem solved

Morgwen, you can't be more wrong when talking about movies. Its so easy to get IPs with BT and the users cluster in easy to find torrents.

As I said I read it. I donīt know how BT works exatly, to honest I donīt care... I am using eMule. I tested BT some time ago, I wasnīt very impressed... now its one more reason not to use it.

Thanks for the info.

Neither are secure. Neither are "securer". It all comes down to what you are sharing, and with BT you are sharing the whole time you are downloading....same with edonkey.

With Kazaa, ares and others...you aren't sharing until after you download the whole file...if you take it out of your shared file immediately after your download...you never shared the file.

It just depends on how you look at it...if you are sharing alot of files....neither are secure or more secure.

This wasen't supposed to be a post war about which file sharing program is more secure. The point is, is that I was a great dedicator to the Bittorrent scene and now it's gone for me. No network is relatively safe. I wish you all luck and hope you dont have the same bad fate I did. Cheers, I will never forget you filesharing.
