Lightbulb Spybot or SpywareBlaster - August 4th, 2004, 05:09 AM

Hi
Regarding the "Lock" feature which prevents spyware from invading into yr PC, these 2 programs, Spybot or & SpywareBlaster contain this feature but which one of them is better than the other regarding this

PS i am always against installing 2 software who have similar features and since Spybot contains an additional scanning feature which do not exist in the other, i preferred Spybot to use on my PC but i am not sure if it's "Lock" feature is better or worse the Lock feature of Spyware Blaster

Suggestions/recommendations would be highly appreciated

THX

Use both. Spybot actually tells you to install SpywareBlaster along with it because it does a better job
mxpwx, he is talking about the Immunize function of Spybot vs Spyware blaster, not TeaTimer vs Ad-Watch

actually yes you would, the newest version of spyware blaster allows you to enable protection for firefox. as good as firefox is, you still need some added proection to protect against tracking cookies.
