Of the choices you listed... - September 1st, 2002, 08:04 PM

I had the best "luck" with AudioGnome. I haven't tried the new version of FileNavigator yet but I heard they were supposed to have better OpenNap & Gnutella support. For when it was written (AudioGnome) it was one of the best OpenNap clients around. They haven't had an upgrade in ages though. This probably has alot to do with OpenNap itself. No multi-source or any of the other major improvements that alot of the other programs have implemented. As always - queueing is a major problem with OpenNap but I seemed to have better luck with AudioGnome than with WinMx or the others. WinMx also had communication problems with the OpenNap protocol. AudioGnome is very efficient at connecting and getting a large number of the servers.

I say winMX but Opennap is not very good network for its lack of well... EVERYTHING. So it is full of good music it isn't very useful and horrible queueing probs. But I say I have good luck with winmx w/openap

If you want to be a serious opennap user I would'nt use WinMX for it because there are many servers that ban it due to waste.

I'd give lopster a try I see people using it alot. Now there's a blind assumption for ya... :fire

could u ever be wronger, winmx is the client that makes it hard to d/l on open/slava nap servers because theya re the only client that uses QUES. The server dont set them the client does. if winmx wasent there and all people would use a "normal"client like anything other then winmx, there wouldent be these que issue's

Audiognome - February 3rd, 2004, 02:43 AM

Hmmm winmx? nah it's the worst prog i have ever used.
Using my self AudioGnome and have tried Lopster also but AG is still the best progg for the opennap, especialy for registrate servers (running my self one).
AG is for new users a compicated client but when you use to it you will never change to an other client again.
