I belive I got mine from the Yugioh trainer I checked for my kids. Since it was the only file found, I belive it was harmless use of the file, and just used by the trainer. However, since spybot detected it - I removed it. It will be dropped again if I use the trainer again.

I first came across the hotkeyshook keylogger back in late 2003 from various trainers off megagames website. And they still have the trainers up after I emailed them about it!
Spybot found the keylogger in root:/windows/system/ as H@tKeysH@@K.dll while Norton and AVG overlooked the file! |

It's not a virus, it's been confirmed on many sites, this just logs your strokes that the trainer needs, and it goes nowhere.
EG, without it apparently if you press say, CTRL F to access a function it probably won't work. Both Ad-aware and S+D detect it, i do know there is one that has simlar name. |

It is not as bad as it seems, but still it is not pleasant to know that you have keylogger.
Please run antivirus to remove H@tkeysh@@k.dll file. |
