Amd finally breaks the 2gh barrier, Iveread somewhere they are going for 3+ by the end of 4th quarter, all while they are trying to create an industry standard to combat the "megahertz myth." I think there is something to this argument... too much is placed on chip speed when there are many other factors involved in a fast machine... like fsb, ram speed, cache.
well heres a link to an article at Ace's Hardware, they overclocked the chip to 2.4.... not bad, and now I think I might stick with AMD after all. link
