Heres a tid bit on something alot of people have been wanting for along time but no one has been able to do it, UNTIL NOW! A company called DISC has introduced a petented technology that will bring a "set top box" into homes late this year. Its called DISCover and will be made by Alienware and Apex. Not much is known about the Alienware version but the Apex version will house a 1.4GHz P4 chipset with Nforce graphics card and will cost a reported 400 bucks. The Alienware version will have a AMD FX-51 chipset, 1GB of RAM and a Nvidia GeForce 5950 Ultra graphics card. No known price yet but im sure it will take a big bite out of you piggy banks ass. DISCover will connect to broadband or dial up but will not be for browsing the internet. Its just for online gaming and recieving patches and updates via GameSpy only. It will use USB ports and support mouse and keyboard also.
