Although I don't personally, I know people that do. I've also seen lots of members here reccommend using both as they sometimes miss files that the other one gets.

What a bunch of crap :]
Dont worry about your little gossip you hear over the internet, they both work together and both get other things the other ones miss. No way to go wrong with that combo :D |

I run both.
Actually that "crap" Omyn was true, at one time. It was either Spybot had a false positive for ad-aware or vice versa. It was because of the backup files it made, and when searched within the zip, found the deleted adware/spyware. But yes, both for me, and no problems! I run both..typically AA, followed by SB. Never been a conflict yet.

The only problems I have ever had with conflicting programs is Mcafee and Norton. I ran them together by accident and had to reinstall XP. As far as adaware and spybot they are compatible with each other.

Spyware blaster is a nice program that prevents some nasties from ever being installed. http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
