I noticed this thread a few days ago, but I was too lazy to reply in a timely manner, oh well.
Any way I’ve had a similar problem with Windows ME\share programs slowing my system to a halt, a RAM defrag program like RAMpage (FREE) or RAMbooster (FREE) makes Windows ME play nice. I use MemTurbo ($19.95) for my RAM defrag program, I get a sick thrill out of using programs that aren’t free. P.S. I am too lazy to upgrade my OS too. |
