I noticed the source code available for download and wondered what it was all about. Seems to be a number of people who think they will be able to work it out.
I can't wait for the full game to be released, although turning the aliens into iraqis does sound like even more fun! to get the online capabillity in half life 2, they should make a small download file from the net, that checks if your game is modded, and then instals itself. Furthermore, when you try to run it, it checks also if you've modded since the last time it checked. That's probably what's gonna happen, unfortunetly some idiet will find a way around this.
Note: this is comming from a blind gamer, but what the hell! edit: This is completely unrelated, but I can't post on zp! I sent hunter a pm, but I had quite a few pm's, tried to delete them, and it wuldn't let me! even if I tried deleting one at a time, etc. |

It's simple... If this source is 2+ months old then Valve should just play around with the IP/multiplayer shit BEFORE it's released.
When it comes around the system should be changed enough to bitch slap any older code off any server. So unless your playing with the stolen source you can't cheat. I personally don't give a rats ass about Half Life... I enjoyed the hell outta 1 and I'll probably hate to based on them trying to hard. Notice that? The original was simple/easy and fun...then they get all cocky and try making something that blasts doom 3 away and it SUCKS ass. Doom III will probably suck ass compared to Doom II...lol just based on that simple formula...over do it and lose gamers. Shawners, go play the PC version of HL and HL Blue...they make the PS2 version look like shit... www.dakota-fanning.org www.elle-fanning.net |

Half Life will no longer be released this year because of the leak:

Half Live Blue Shift was an awesome game! It had simple yet constantly changing puzzles, very unique levels, decent graphics, and an overall realistic/unbuggy game.

Why's it got to be about the crackers?
