Yes, FTA does exactly what it does. The following explanation of DK is old stuff I found from this site: http://www.unitethecows.com/forums/s...ighlight=DietK ... but I'll just sum up to the important stuff:
DietK (dietk.com) will kill ads that Kazaalite may pop up. It also finds "unlimited" search results. Dietk "with Lemon" version will search over and over ( really unlimited). You have to pay for the "Lemon" version, and I'm not sure how useful it is because I don't have it myself. If you prefer to not use Dietk, but want its features, you can do a couple things: 1.) Go to this site: http://www.smartin-designs.com/ (very easy instructions on this site)...It has a downloadable "HOST" file that will block the ads or sites that KazaaLite uses as well as other spyware material from other sites. 2.) Then, change KazaaLite's registries (Start-> Run-> type "regedit"). In Regedit, you can search for the names of the registries by clicking Edit-> Find. Read the attachment I found from Axisstar in the UnitetheCows forum...it explains the registries further. If you want to find the registries a little easier, use the program Registry Crawler: http://www.4developers.com/regc/ |

I think there are many accelerators out there but the one that I used can be found at http://www.speedup.tk/ This is the one that comes bundled with K-Lite, but you can download the most recent version of it here... it is definitely worth the download!

I have diet kazaa and it is the best progam for kazaa I've ever used. And for those who want FastTrack Accelerater just go to google.com and search for FastTrack Accelerater and it should have some links there for it . In fact here's a link for FastTrack Accelerater, http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~amvelden/fta/

FastTrack Accelerator -

The best combination for fastrack is Kazaa Lite and FastTrack accelerator. Here's the accelerator : http://www.speedup.tk/
I haaven't tried Diet Kazaa though, as I'm too satisfied with Lite. You get no popups, and no banner in the main prog. Regards Will |
