Safari 1.0 - September 5th, 2003, 02:33 PM

Not a Mac user but hey what do you all think of Safari 1.0 just came out. Better then Opera, IE6, Mozilla?

i like safari. it's fast, it's efficient, it has all the features i wish msie and opera really had. msie needs tabs and a pop-up blocker, opera needs to work on their pop-up blocker... in 6, it was all or nothing.

i don't like the download manager in safari though... no real options for the downloads, and not resumeable... but i use speeddownload2 anyway, so... who cares? that's like using msie's built-in downloading thingy. who uses it?

Ive tried Safari and I have to say its the best brower for MacOS. One of the reasons i like it is because it uses KHTML (Konqueror in Linux :) ) as its rendering engine.
