My new computer, check it out! - July 19th, 2003, 10:58 PM

OK OK, so this isn't my new computer, but I wish it were.

I don't know anything more than the rest of you at the moment, but I'm trying to find out more, I snagged it off of geffers from PCTT.

Count em, 23 drives!!!!!!!

It 'd be great if it were for running a large business, otherwise all of that space is unnecessary for a home user.

Is there any way I can expand my comp to be able to hold like 4 HDs? I would rather just add to the ones I have then throw my 80 gig away, then my 120 gig when drives start coming down in price and space on my computer starts becoming more valuable.

People on my "cool list" in no particular order.

How big is your power supply though? It may not be able to handle 4 hd's, some cd roms, and the rest of the computer.

hot damn... look at all them cables. whoo.

airflow (despite the fans in front of the hard drives) must be a pain in the ass.

on a less positive note tho, this computer would not be able to sit with very long without the side panel off. the fans in front are not balanced (with anything i can see). all those fans up front are just pushing air in with nowhere for it to go... which actually slows down the rate they can move air (pressure inside the case). if there were some beefy fans on the back, it would help alot.

i give it a 3 out of 5.

Maybe its designed to not use a side panel and run as an open case. I personally never leave the panels on my comps as im constantly swapping the hardware

How about some of them?

I've been informed by the guy I got the pic from, that the computer most likely has never run, he got it off a cheezy site with a bunch of strange pictures, and it was probably just set up to look like it could run.
