apple's quarterly profit - July 17th, 2003, 10:06 PM

from the local fanboy, straight to the forum :-P

"Apple made a $19 million profit last quarter (significantly higher than the analysts expected), boosted revenues to $1.545 billion (that's up 8% from a year ago), and increased its gross margins to a healthy 27.7%. Cash is up once again, to $4.54 billion, and both profits and revenues are expected to grow still further next quarter."

I don't think it will happen for a long time, if ever. UNLESS a lawsuit did come up again and split Microsoft up. I don't want that to happen. I like Microsoft, and I bet every forum member is going to yell at me for that. LoL go ahead, I don't care I do, and thats that. Lol

But I would like to see Apple create a gaming system like the [X].

Well microsoft is good in some respects. It keeps apple on there toes. Which is good so we don't get shit soft ware or any thing like that. And probably some other stuff but I'm to dumb to realize cause I'm just a kid who only cares about computer games and mp3s.

Oh well,

microsoft keeps apple on their toes?

whatever you've been drinking/smoking, send it my way.

look at how much stuff ms is taking straight from osx... the best example i can give you right now is the composited windowing system. technology from apple in 2001, put in longhorn for 2005.

and where do you think windows xp's eye candy/playskool plastic look came from? obviously a bad attempt to create eyecandy.
