how about both? that way, if u can't find a file on one network, u can get it from the other.

BE CAREFUL:

with shareaza, anything that has a host address starting with '66.**.**.**' is probly a fake file!!!

Neither... lol - July 22nd, 2002, 09:52 AM

I would say get Blubster, blubster I has barely any fake files. When I was looking for two populAR SONGS, I searched on Kazaa, and all of them where fake, so i went on Blubster, and non where fake that got... so now I stick with Blubster

Well in it's current version there's no multi-sourcing with Blubster, so for most things I stick to Kazaa Lite (still!). Although there are many songs on FastTrack that aren't the right versions. Therefore I use www.simplemp3s.com for downloading new albums, because they are always the right ones.

Not exactly true... - July 22nd, 2002, 12:43 PM

Blubster 1.2.3 doesnt multisource, but if you can get the 2.0 beta 1 to work, that multisources, and its fast.

I've tried the unofficial 2.0 release before, and I thought they had disabled multi-sourcing until the final release. But now I realize that it's just that you can't see the multiple sources when you're searching, unlike FastTrack or WinMX. The sources come when you're downloading.

Cool my suggestion - July 22nd, 2002, 03:36 PM

I would say give Winmx a try myself. It's been quite reliable for me the past year. 3+ allow for multi user DL and hs some of the best file and bitrate selection i know of. As for a media player it doesn't have one built in but Winamp goes along perfectly with it really. Winamp also has plugins that allow for video viewing. I've also managed to find some rarer fiiles on Winmx. That's just my suggestion.

As a program, WinMX is better. It doesn't have as much users as FastTrack does, but you can find a lot more rarer files like he said. If you're looking for something pretty popular, get it from FastTrack, but WinMX probably has more overall content.
