Angry Problem downloading on WinMX - July 20th, 2002, 08:32 PM

I use WinMX 2.6 (the new versions suck...cant get anything done!) and sometimes i run across files with lots of odd characters and symbols in the file name. I try to download some of these, but I just get strange error messages on WinMX that say the file couldn't be found in MY directory...how can I overcome/correct this problem?
