Thank goodness Windows 95 is here to choose from. heh Tolkien fans might like this even though it;s a little old. http://flyingmoose.org/tolksarc/theories/win95.htm

Seriously, I feel a little sorry for the people using 95, and swearing that it's not crashing on them.

I didn't see Linux on the poll! - July 19th, 2002, 11:44 AM

Xwindows on Linux is the only Windows OS I would use .... boy, what kind of dumb company would name an OS on a completely general term like 'Windows'?! :-)

XP for its pretty GUI & its tweak-ability
6 x months later & its never crashed
Amazing

Hehe, I love the fact that the OS im running, XP, is available from a good number of programs on this site. Just waiting for the supposebly destructive SP1 to be released, the latest news today says that it may effectively shut down almost all the warez'd XP operations out there using some kind of new algorithm that changes corporate key workings. ( I'll find out more bout this):mellow

Never fear, I'm willing to wager that SP1 will be fully patched, harmless, and available on every big file sharing service out there. This is Zeropaid, isnt it?

DigitalJunkie, I've never tried Lindows, but from what I've heard it's easy to configure ... kind of an 'Average Joe' Linux.

Simple, dont D/L the damn thing... I wonder how systems that didn't come pre-loaded with XP actually have a legitimate version...

XP is definitely the best so far, with its advanced options even more so than before. Although at first it can be a system hog with all the glitter that it comes with, but once that's turned off it works fine. Also, I'm not sure but I think XP is the first MS OS to not be built with DOS.

As I said Windows, where not including Linux, even though Linux is good, but very uncompatible with stuff, which I know it isn't thier fault.. but this is just for windows.. thats why I said "windows os"
