This Takes Place Just Before The Matrix Reloaded. Very Well Done

It revolves around a high school adolescent, skilled on the skateboard, who's been Talkking With Somebody on the Internet. He will begin to discover the truth about existence, and he will be pursued by those forces dedicated to maintaining secrecy. Neo is heard in voice-over reprising his role. Very Well Down This Is The Kid That Chases Neo In the Movie.

It is the story of a young woman who, while searching for her missing cat, finds children at play in a deserted building and courtyard. The area seems to possess strange properties that defy the laws of physics, including gravity, time, and causality. The reality police will soon arrive to put things right.

I agree with the overal review - thanks for explaining Matriculated i just did not get it ? but you cleared things up very well.

World Record was a total waste.

And my personal favorite was Kid's Story.

Thanks

Osris is how you learn that the machines are digging. It is also the package that you have to get in the Enter the Matrix game.

The second renisannace as already said is the history of the orgins of the robots, the robot war and the creation of the matrix.

A kids story the annoying kid from the movie is one of the rare people who are aware of the matrix and neo sends one message to him and eventually the kid plugs himself out of the matrix and is picked up on the nebuchanezzar.

I thought Program wasnt that bad. Its a training test of loyality which seemed to be highly influenced of what happened with Cypher in the first movie.

World Record i think really shows how imperfect the matrix is. The guy runs out of the matrix and into reality and whole thing is covered up.

Beyond is about a glitch in the matrix that the girl and the kids find and it gets "fixed."

A dectectives story a private investigator is hired by agents to track down trininty which isnt the first time and i think it shows how the machines use humans plugged into the matrix for their dirty work and he eventually finds her and agents show up.

The last one they want to capture machines and turn them against other machines so there is a robot war and then kill each other. However they didnt expect that reinforcements would get called and they get attacked.

haha, this could be cause for some good debate, but I have the feeling that it won't

I would have to agree with Mainstream, "World Record" was pretty blah, but I did like the exaggerated animation and the slow mo effect

I would have to disagree with Seph and Mainstream on "Matriculated," the humans just wanted to give the robots a choice to find it's own path whether it be good or bad, the matrix or reality, instead of not having a choice like the humans that are in the crops, of course they were hoping the robots would choose to be on their side though, who wouldn't like some robot help

I completely disagree with the first 2 post regarding "World Record".

By no means am I saying it is the best short on the disc, but I really don't think you got it. In the real world, this runner was escaping his "battery pod" (if you want to call it that). Whenever he pulled far enough, cables would disconnect. In the Matrix, his muscles and tendens ripped and popped. These sensations were meant to make him stop so he wouldn't disconnect from the Matrix (and thus cease to be a power source for the machines). He was persistent though. He ran until he was finished the race. The rush and pain of it all was so intense that he woke himself up in the real world while he was still partially connected. Once corrected and plugged back in, he retained some of that real world memory and stood up even though his jacked-in body was almost programmed not to.

When he does stand at the end, you feel the machines thinking: "Shit."

That's what I got from it anyway.

As for Program, I'm a huge fan of Ninja Scroll (same artist) so I had a positive biased opinion right off the bat. The twist at the end made me like it for more than just the artist though.

The chick in the beginning and the scientist guy aruge about how they are manipulating the machines to fight one another.

They hook the machine into a matrix like setting, giving it a human body and manipulate the matrix to influence the machine's preception and to rebel against the other robots.

I agree, Yoshiaki Kawajiri is a great director/artist, Bloodlust was great also, even though some didn't like it, I wish he'd push out more stuff, but I can see how that could be difficult

yeah, I was there, I heard the convo, but that's not what I got out of it, sorry man, I don't want you to get all but hurt on me, that's just what I got from that piece, if that's what you got, great

I didn't get the feeling they were trying to manipulate the robots to their own purpose, just me though, maybe I choose to see the good in humanity or something, call me crazy
