Whenever I start a download via IE, Bittorrent would load, but I would get a fatal error message from windows before I get to choose the download directory. The message says that
"Windows cannot find 'C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\6FEP6HG1\[file].torrent'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search." I get this error everything I begin a download with Bittorrent. Although the download goes through after I click "OK", this message is extremely bothersome. Does anyone know how to prevent this message from appearing before each download? |

Same here. Curious to know why myself.
Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats". |

For me Shareaza mucked up the BitTorrent settings. Uninstall Shareaza, uninstall your BT client, restart your computer, then reinstall your BitTorrent client.
