Based on comments he had read he said that “the shareaza author doesn't understand BitTorrent's tit-for-tat algorithms at all” and therefore “the client is unlikely to be able to offer as good performance as the official one.” He also slammed Shareaza for not speaking to him saying no one ever told him anything about Shareaza's support. So Shareaza doesn't seem to be perfect, but it works fine with me...

Perhaps he was looking at the first beta, which did have problems. But the latest beta did fix those (it didn't have "Endgame" mode). I don't know why he would say it doesn't support's "algorithms" or whatever, no offense, but how would he know? Does he have the Shareaza source? :)
It is, afterall, only in beta stages. If issues are found, they can be resolved through the forum.
And by not communicating, I don't understand what he means by that. Does it mean he owns BitTorrent and that to get on BitTOrrent you have to go by him first? If that's how he wanted it then why did he release the source for BitTorrent and write specs for it? Mike did "create" G2 yet the specs are openly avaliable and I doubt "mldonkey" went and "communicated" with Mike prior to that, you shouldn't have to.
Bram just seems to be upset that Shareaza is "stepping on their toes" just as some eMule developers were (until Mike talked with them and now they're fine).
