@ Signa & W31n3r - Yeah, sorry, but that's just how it generally ended. I've never since then been so pissed off at someone over the internet since online. At times, I was tempted to cut loose and say to him something along the lines of, "I will not forgive you, I will fuck you up!" though the opportunity never arose. He wound up destroying his own reputation though, so the self destruction of his personal online reputation had to do. I suppose he could have been thankful that I was too young to realize I could have gotten the police to go after him. Ever since then though, letting those who choose to fuck with me for whatever reason self destruct in the process has become the most effective defense.

@ Rack - I don't recall having a more thorough spam filter than Google's spam filter here. Been using gmail because of it for a few years now.

I find the best spam filter to be using like... 5 total websites on the entire net, and trying to never sign up for shit, or give anyone my email address.

One hotmail Address from 1996 when it was HoTMaiL..seriously, I still use the sonofabitch for most of my sign ups and registrations.

One Yahoo address for spam and garbage
3 gmail accounts - one for spam, one for craigslist and one I use for personal

One Icq mail account for when I actually used the damn thing (Icq)

Two AOL accounts no longer used.
Three Hotmail accounts. One being my first and main email account since 1998.
One Yahoo account that has not been used in three years.
One Gmail account used for two forum access sites.

I actually don't even use my yahoo account for SPAM anymore... I use 10minutemail.com for that now. The only reason my yahoo account is up is because I have to have an active account to play fantasy football and stuff like that

What about services like Trashmail or the email service provided by ThePirateBay (slopbox?)? I've heard those can be quite handy if you are worried about getting spam after signing up to some unknown service.

I still have my netscape email. Crazy that it still works even though netscape.net is long gone. So how do you all keep up with your multitude of email accounts? I use PopPeeper (http://www.poppeeper.com), it handles as many accounts as you can throw at it, and going through all 18 accounts I have takes me about 5 minutes a day with it.

I've been using pop peeper for a few days now, since reading your post. I must say I like this program a lot. I've incorporated 7 of my email accounts into it. It rocks!!
