Another "Hero" is Coming Our Way (360 Kombo)

Activision aka Milkivision is at the milking process again.

Activision is throwing claims out there that Guitar Hero is the third highest selling franchise of all time, behind Mario, and Madden, all three names that are just common among everyone in the world. We've already seen DJ Hero and Band Hero and all the titles previous to those. Activision is at it again to add yet another name into the "Hero" music line of games.

Recently Activision filed for a trademark for the name "Drum Hero". Sure they have been milking the name like crazy, but if they pay enough attention to the actual instrument and the playing of it like they did with DJ Hero they could have a huge hit on their hands. It seems when I see Rock Band or Guitar Hero parties that the drums are the most liked instrument of them all because they are just downright fun and the most like playing the real thing. Lets hope they do the name good and make a huge hit, if they disappoint I'll be very sad because I'm a drummer and I love playing drums on both games.

Activision insists that it certainly didn't steal the idea from the highly successful Asian Konami video game Drummania at all, but will patent every nook and crannie they can find in the US patent system while they are at it and claim it to be, "like, totally original!"

Laughed when I saw DJ hero in a flyer. They ripped off guitar freaks, then they rip of beatmania, now they are ripping off rock band.
