Exclamation The Q&A Thread of Morpheus P2P need help, get help!

I started this thread about Morpheus simply because there isn't enough information about how Morpheus works in as far as troubleshooting things while using it. Haven't found any exclusive Original Morpheus Forums, so Zeropaid will now have this thread for all the users of Morpheus to post their questions regarding problems using Morpheus and hopefully others will participate in offering some answers and troubleshooting this highly quick P2P program.

No. 1 Question: After searching for a particular audio file, and upon execution of downloading it, why is it that while searching for the file off all the hosts that you will get a repeated source is offline? I have tried to download mp3's with no avail. Are there specific network configurations that need to be set as in: Ports, setting your IP number, or some other advanced features in order for Morpheus to download the files the user is using the program for in the first place? Morpheus seems to be an extremely fast P2P but I have yet to download 1 mp3. I also use Ares which is very accurate in finding those mp3's and virtually never run into any problems getting what I want. I am trying to use Morpheus as a additional program but so far with no luck,

Anyone who use's Morpheus on a regular basis and who has prior experience would you mind sharing any of your experience's so that folks like myself and others could get the greatest benefit out of this P2P Software, as it seems like a very good one, fast, very fast.

There is no formal forum that I have found that exclusively go's into any great detail about using or setting Morpheus up except the usual ones Slyck's, Peer Evolution, and this one.
So how about it folks, this is an exceptional program, bring some help here please!!

A Morpheus user trying to get the most out of it,

    Hardryve :green

Wasn't aware. It seems like it's energized with java as it is quick rendering those searches, but if you can't get them what's up with that mess? I love Ares. The most versaltile problem free P2P out there but always looking into other softwares to compare functionalities.

I do use eMule which handle's most of my large loads effortessly but still there has to be something out there that is quick and gives the user more options for deeper search's for those hard to find things we use. Have any suggestion's? I have used WinMX and SoulSeeker, but haven't tried the torrents yet, I guess I just don't like the way their seeding setup is, and it seems like it is a vulnerable opening for anyone that leaves it running, but perhaps I may just be ignorant in my thoughts here. Do you use it? Let me know and give me your take on the best ones while your at it. Delete time now, Thxs for the lookout appreciate that sp00ky.

Nice to have made your aquaintance,

    1. Are you connected to NEOnet?
    2. Did you say no when Windows XP SP2 asked if you wanted to 'Allow' Morpheus through the firewall?

The most common case I've seen of Morpheus not operating is when users selected "Don't Allow" to the windows dialog asking to allow Morpheus through the firewall. If you did this, you need to add an exception for Morpheus in the Windows Firewall settings in the control panel.

as far as "experienced morpheus users" goes, there is no such thing, they've moved on to better things.
