  2. Hey Grez7...you've been a member since 2002. I often wonder why you check your profile so often, but have never posted one single thing in 7 years. Grez, 7 years??

If it's hard to remember, it'll be difficult to forget.

About Grez7
Biography:
I stopped buying music CD's back in 1998. I felt the quality of music no longer justified the cost, and I ran out of room to store them all. My interest in music was re-started when I saw the Channel 4 News article back in the year 2000 late in May. What's this I hear, a free program to download free music? I installed Napster straight away!!! Though not a heavy user, it was great to find out-of-print rare tracks.

I've been reading Zeropaid every night since early 2001 just before Napster got shutdown.
I progressed to various clients; WinMX, Bearshare, eDonkey2000, Morpheus then Shareaza.

2002 - 2004 Shareaza Alpha Team - general testing/bug reporting, and some of my features added.

2003 September, started my own file sharing website. Though this is amateur and strictly private.

2004 October, wrote three enormous protest emails to Matt Phillips of the BPI and received a reply.

I've now switched my main sharing to eMule (ed2k/Kad) since eDonkey2000 closed, because like Gnutella it is now also fully open source including the networks. I've also experimented with annoymizing technologies such as Freenet, MUTE File Sharing and AntsP2P. P2P Broadcasting is also interesting, like PeercastP2P and StreamerP2P. And the latest, Omemo P2P file storage is an excellent very useful program.

I will never to buy music again unless I can legally share it, profit free, DRM free. The music industry has caused untold damage to the development of P2P and it's public image. Technology must win and it will if we stand together! They can buy all the laws they like, but they can never make you buy their music.

The greatest mythical term in the world today 'Intellectual Property'.
