I have finally gotten around to purchasing a book about Visual basic 6 programing. Now the only problem is Visual basic 6 Enterprise edition does not want to run on my dual boot Windows 2K Pro/XP Pro.
Is it possible to run MS Visual basic 6 studio on NT machines (I would think so) perhaps this is because the Visual basic 6 I have obtained was liberated from its original CD.
If VB 6 will not run on nt machines or any variant there of, are there any good programing studios for VB 6 that will?
And please i dont want to hear any crap about i should be learning C or C++ or (insert your favorite language here) i already have an investment in VB and i know it is a VERY good place to start.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
BEST Regards

I've noticed that to, if we just had one big area to post.....
Seriously though, we should try to condense this forum some, its a pain in the ass to navigate, and people end up just posting in a general forum anyway
btw, you should try C- programming, I've learned it and built about 4 p2p apps, its nice stuff, took me about a week for each proggy, kewl huh?

That works ok, but I'm not on 24/7, so I tend to miss a lot in the smaller forums

Hmm, if I posted exactly every 130 seconds, at my current post rate, I would have to be on here at least 30min a day
When I look at that, I'm scared, thats a lot of time on this site...
