I have a couple of movies that are on cd-r. They are in vcd format, how do I copy them to a dvd-r or dvd-rw? I appreciate any and all help that anyone can lend. Thanx!

Do you want to convert the files to DVD format or do you want to put a group of VCDs on one DVD disk so you can have 8-9 hours of movies on one DVD disk

First you have to convert the .DAT files on your cd to be MPEG files. To do this, you need a program called VCDGEAR v3.5. After you have done that, use MainConcept MPEG Encoder v1.3.1. It's alot faster and much easier to use than TMPGEnc. After you are done converting your movies to dvd format with MainConcept, use either Nero Vision Express or Dazzle DVD Complete to burn it on a DVDR or DVDRW. That's it!

Or you could use DVD Squeeze since that has TMPGEnc in it anyway....
