Last week I downloaded KaZaA++ 2.1.0 Build 2, and whenever I tried a sig2dat link it would never work, later I found out there was a bug in it so I went and downloaded Build 3 thinking the bug would have been fixed, but no matter what whenever I try to click on a Sig2Dat link I always get the same exact error "The QuickLink is not valid" Does anyone know whats wrong with this or am I doomed to never be able to use sig2dat links again?

I would start with a clean installation of k-lite, I'm sure you know how to do this, so I'll save my fingers :)
If you do need help, let me know though
I haven't heard of anybody having problems at the k-lite.tk forums, are you sure it isn't just one site?

i really hate that k-sig and k-dat crap. wish they put sig2dat again as an option.

Just so you guys know, I'm asking the developers if its still a known bug
Sock, I'm pretty sure they do have it as an option....make sure you check the box

Which is why I downloaded sig2dat again and now currently use that.
I mean, why fuck around with something that works?

Because you can have quicklinks that start without a restart of kazaa

Dude, its time for me to get some fuckin sleep
I downloaded the installer, it is not included...
Install it from http://www.geocities.com/vlaibb/
Brad, the other suggestion, was to dump k-dat because it gets "picky", try something else I guess...
I think whats happening is too many people are making new apps for kazaa, there just isn't enough time or bandwidth to do thurough testing of everything, and right now I'm honestly thinking about going back a few versions, there is nothing to gain that I can see by going to the latest and greatest version, the old ones worked
Thats also what I get for beta testing stuff for them :P

I just gave up trying to make k-sig work and just downloaded the actaul sig2dat program and now I'm happy. I suggest anyone having problems with k-sig do the same.

Temporarily, I've gone to the dark side
Thats right, i use shareaza now, put it with www.peerweb.tk and its sweet as hell, I've allready got a couple of full cds, all full quality, and cddb sites recognize the cds I burn
