At the same time WInMX & eMule

Anyone knows if WinMX works fine with eMule or Kazaa at the same time?

I use WinMX and eMule all the time and at the same time. Like the Evil man said, your bandwith will be cut for each.

In fact I see many WinMX users using eMule and Kazaa because when you do a search on either one, you oftentimes see those damn INCOMPLETE files in other people's directories.

I personally can't stand WinMX. I think it is the worst. I only use it when I can't find a file anywhere else. If you like waiting 3 months or more for your files to download then stick with it. Otherwise, I think eMule is great. Downloads seem to occur 24 hours a day with no BS disconnects and waiting in 100+ ques only to be dumped when you finally get your chance.

WinMX is hit or miss. One month is seems to work, another month it is just a convenience for everybody else. Trust me, it's not my files, my ISP, my ports, firewalls, antivirus or anything else on my end. It's WinMX.....slower than a three-legged cow.

I use winmx, soulseek and kazaalite at the same time with no problems.

Emule seems to have a effect on the download rate for the others even when i set the upload rate at a reasonable amount.

So i tend to use emule seperately

A lot of what you ask depends on your windows environment, which O/S, how much ram you have, what NIC you have, but if you run in passive mode, and dont try to dl 30 file in each one, and upload 20, you should be fine, just be realistic, start small, and go from there.
