Can anyone cast any light on the following cluster of MP3 files, which appear in many browse-lists, often in multiples, and nearly always associated with users who, when you try to DL from them, give you File/User Unavailable, Connection Refused, or Time Out on the connection?

Big_Sandy_And_The _Fly_Rite_Trio-Thru_Dreamin
Clem_Snide-Moment_In_The_Sun
Daryll_Ann-Surely_Justice
Dave_Thompson-Standin_In_The_Rain
Vladimir_Horowitz-Etude_In_C_Minor_Op_25_No_12_Chopin

Is this some sort of leecher-pack or something?

I thought I had explained it enough ... it's the exact same thing but hmm guess that guy didn't understand me. Thanks for clarifying for me.

LamourLady - Hi.
I appreciate that the files are genuine, but perhaps I didn't make my query clear enough. The thing that makes me wonder is that this particular combination of files occurs again and again in what I regard as "Suspicious Users" - users who sit in my queue waiting for something, but never have any ULs going of their own. These people rarely have more than 20 or 30 files in their list, and if they do have more than this, it often includes multiple iterations of each of the files I listed. I had a user yesterday who had about 70 files, which included 6 each of the files I listed above, all with identical titles and sizes - and I mean identical - there was no (1) or (2) after any of them. Most of the rest of their files were Incompletes. I've noticed this before. These files stand out in a list due to the excessive use of the Underscore in the titles. I though perhaps that someone had packaged them up as a job-lot to prevent users getting Dissed for having no shares.

BTW - the Print Screen, CTRL-V into MSPaint works fine here too! :-o) I usually do a screen capture from PSP. Your way is quicker!

Passer,
u may be right. there may be something going on.
and although i don't condone leeching, i'm thinking that the reason for this could also be because of some people being a bit paranoid of the current situation, with people being sued.
maybe they have removed any current songs and left their oldies-but-goodies, in their share folder, hence like u said, they r then still sharing.
we may see more of this than we like.
and there is not much we can do about it.
i take it u have tried messaging them?
i find most leechers have this turned off, a sure sign that they know exactly what they r doing and don't want to hear from u.
in any event......we may never know the answer to your question.

LamourLady -

Yep, you're right. They almost invariably have their privacy settings set against receipt of messages. A couple of times I've sent messages which got through, but never had a reply. :-o(

Very strange Passer! 184 results, half of em 'unable to connect', others connect o.k, browsed directories pretty much shows the same selection of files shared between all these users. Another strange thing is the names in the full file paths... weird!

Any theories? :D
