Most of the time my downloads on Kazaa work fine but sometimes when I download a file it does not come into My Kazaa so I have to go into my shared folder and search for it and then play it off there and not from Kazaa. Please help as this is getting really annoying!.

Try closing Kazaa (from the systray) and restarting it. Now check My Kazaa and see if the file's there.

If you are using K++ go to Options>More Options........
There you will find 'Scan for new files every x' where x is the number you decide upon.............
This represents the intervals in minutes that your shared folder refreshes.............I keep mine at 5............if you choose to go lower, it will take a lot of resources
If you're having major refreshing problems you can go to the k-lite forums and post a question there............
It's pretty easy to navigate to your shared folder and just play it in Winamp, so I'm not quite sure what you're getting at..........there's a "My Shared Folder" toolbar right in K++
Anyway keep asking if the problem doesn't resolve or is more specific
If you are using KMD, immediately uninstall it and install spybot and ad-aware...........

Scan and remove the spyware............
Use a reg clenear of some sort to clean out the remaining registry keys that deal with Kazaa............I recommend JV16 Powertools.............DO NOT change values in the registry unless you specifically know what you are doing........you can destablize your system.........
Go to www.k-lite.tk and install the latest NON beta of K++
