banning somebody from chat room

is there a way to ip ban somebody who has an ip spoofer? i heard there was and would like to know how to do this so i can pass the info on to the host. and if it isnt possible well thats just plain ole crappy! lol but oh well

well you can have an oper run a script so all you do is type ban nick in the room and it will ban there ip (i take that idea from p2pchat btw ) either then that i dont think just sops aops half ops can do it lol

run a firewall..... and ban the IP range...
Sygate and Outpost personal firewalls are good for this.
