need real help

Hi all, i'm in real need of help. I have a 559mb file in mpg format and wish to make it smaller. It doesn't matter what format it will be as long as I can make it smaller. Can anyone tell me what is the best format? And by how much can it be break down?

dunno, but i think you could go to doom9.net. at least thats what k-lite tells me :-)

I'm not sure what you mean. If you are try to split the file into smaller bits you can rejoin later, try this (http://download.com.com/3000-2248-6699953.html?tag=lst-0-20).
You can split it into whatever sizes you choose with this and it's freeware.
