Problem is:

I download a set of mp3's which are in a .rar archive, I unpack them, all files work correctly. Then I transfer the file to another computer on my network, but then suddenly there are 37 (out of 150) broken files in the archive.

How to fix this? I did try to "rebuilt" the archive but that didn't help.

is it the same version of winrar on each pc? (or winace?)

use the up-to-date'in'est version, they can play funny buggers. either that or the files got broke in transit. you did copy them, not move? :)

have you tried just moving the already unpacked MP3's rather then unpacking them again on the other computer?

No I just copied the files from the other computer because I wanted to install Windows 2003 on it, so now I lost the original archive :(
