Seems to bring up a good amount of results even for some of the rarer things i'm looking for. I'm a bit confused about some of the transfer statuses though..
When i have selected a file for transfer they either say 'no sources', 'paused', or 'queued', but dont actually download. I cant unpause the paused ones, or start the queued ones. I reckon I mustbe doing something wrong (only ever used audiogalaxy before - too easy!!).
Also how can i find more 'neighbours' to share with, i can only ever connect to 2 (250Gb shared) can I access more than this?
Cheers

...My downloads are only at 1 KB/s, the maximum I've had is 2KB/s. Are there any options i should change to get quicker downloads?

if you want to connect to more neighbors, go to tools, shareaza options, then the network tab. theres a setting there that says "to peers". make that number larger to get more connections.
You cant do much about the downloads that say "no sources". The ones that say queued mean that u are in line to download from another person, so you just have to wait it out. Im not sure about the paused one or your speed problems.
if you want to make sure that you have a better chance of download make sure to only download the ones that are not greyed out.
hope this helps you.

i just thought of a couple more tips (maybe for more speed)
In the options again under general, make sure "show rates in" is set to bytes/second, not bits.
under downloads, make the number larger for "transfers per file" so you get more people to download a file from.
I think thats it, so good luck.

ALWAYS try & pick a file that has a lot of other people listed as having that same one because this will GREATLY increase you chances of a much faster download & not having to worry about that pesky "no sources" saying which you get on a lot of obscure files (that means the person or persons that have the file you selected have gone offline & you'll have to wait for them to come back). If you can't unpause something chances are your already downloading 2 files at the same time which is the default setting you can go into your options menue & set your maximum downloads at same time to a higher # but that will increase your bandwidth consumption & the possibility of cross interfearence in your mp3 sound (can be very annoying).
Good luck & enjoy this truly is the BEST P2P ever!!!!!!:tilted

Tried all the suggestions, but still not increased th D/L speed. 2Kbs Is the most I've had. If i close the prog and try Kazzalite i get sppeds upto 50Kbs. Whats happening to me?? How come I'm stuck with crappy speeds??

Very strange? What about the upload speed listed next to the file your downloading? Do you try & go with the highest number? Again I always pick a file with the most amount of sources & with the best upload speeds so I'm gauranteed to get the file & FAST!
I have never had this problem on a regular basis only when downloading a a file from a single source with a crappy upload speed.
Try going to Shareaza (http://www.shareaza.com) & go to the help forums you will get the help you need there for sure.
Good luck.

It may be becasue of the ultrapeers which some times take up a lot of bandwidth, when downloadig go to "tools" and then "options"and then select the "Bandwidth" tab and limit each ultrapeer to a slower speed, this may help.
