Hi,

This is not a good Idea. For one your system will be bogged down. Two P2P are not the way to go.

We had a forum about this before about a mouth ago I belive.

Peace!:tol :tol

i still don't understand.
if u have the memory......how can u have too many files?
do u mean all the files won't be shown in your "shared folder", because of a ceiling on the # of files shown, when someone browses?

i answered your ? at that other forum you posted to. If you have problems finding what u need, I can be found in the Vladd44 chatroom on winmx, but Good luck on actually finding me active....more time...i need more time....how about a 28 hour day?

And Lamourlady, I am not sure but I think he is trying to allow people to dl the smaller files (MP3 etc) without waiting in line behind people dling large video files etc. A feature that winmx should have anyway. I hate seeing people 100+ in my queue for a 4 meg song behing 95 people trying to dl 700+ mb files.

looks like some people have so much spare time on their hands that they end up coming up with these stupid no-brainer schemes that serve zero purpose.

Just use WinMX as it was intended, or use another p2p.Or you can start going to Tower Records.

No.

For small >32KB files, yes. But not for 3-4MB files.

you would probably get network errors due to 2 instances, but nevertheless you can't clear the mutex so you can't run 2 at once.
