Kazaa lite's swarm downloading is shit

Someone explain this please. You search for a file. It says there are 30 people with that file. Yet kazaa only seems to let you swarm download from about 5 users maximum. Then, when you're download is getting towards the end it starts fucking disconnecting you from the people you were trying to download from ! What the hell is all that about ?

Whoa there. First of all I think you are totally wrong.I usually get at least 12-15 people that I am "swarm" downloading from and the reason it disconnects you at the end of the file is because you have already gotten all the parts you need from those people and it is searching for someone else to get it off of. I think kazaa lite's features WORK and are great so I dont know whats wrong with your version. Try visiting www.k-lite.tk and reinstall klite. Peace

I've seen good days and bad days. In general, I think you may be right, but you got to realize that although Kazaa is known for minimal queues, those other people might be remotely queud. As long as I get the file eventually, I'm happy though. I'd rather have slow downloads than having to wait in queue for 3 days and then get the file at a miserable 5KB/s.

You got it wrong. Kazaa's swarm downloadings is THE SHIT. Click on 'Find more sources' and you can almost always get more than 8 sources.

actually, kazaa's swarming does suck... i can download a file from one person at 2.9kB/s, but then it finds another source, and then it drops down to 1.5kB/s and never comes back.

I've found that. I got about 200 users for this file I was looking for, yet it was only downloading off a couple at a lousy speed. But the speed does fluctuate at times. Sometimes it's shit though.

If you search for the file whilst it's downloading sometimes you can boost up the download if you find somebody with a high upload speed.

It is bit slow on the weekends but still i have downloaded 15 1/2 hour anime episodes (divx) in last 3 hours and still going strong. They get started slow for a while but soon I have at least 8 or 7 sources at minimum going.

I guess one man's shit is the another's "THE SHIT' (as Rahwgwar put it) when it comes to swarm downloading, lol.

FarOn, just a basic question have you gone into your options menu and changed the default in the new "more options" menu? It lets you define how many sources you can download from. Maybe it was set to default to five.
