Apparently, LeecHammer causes memory leaks in WinMX. I tried installing Ram Booster, but the problem still eventually occurred. Also tried turning off my screensaver, but that didn't work either. What happens is my computer screen goes haywire whenever LeecHammer does an auto-check. This happens after LeecHammer and WinMX have been running for about 10 hours. Since I like to keep WinMX on for days at a time, I haven't been using LeecHammer. Is there anything that prevents the leaks?

I have never used the ram booster you mentioned..... You may want to try Freeram xp pro 1.30 http://www.yourwaresolutions.com/.
You can set it to automatically free up ram when it drops below a specified level. The amount of ram freed can also be user defined. This may help in dealing with your memory problems.

It has something to do with the number of checks you do and the time running...........
Its explained on the help page here (www.smartgamez.org/help.html)

Yes, I saw that. I have it set to check every 2 minutes. The LeecHammer guy offers no solutions except to limit checks and time online, but I still thought I'd see if something worked for anyone.

So far, the Freeram xp pro 1.30 program is working better than the other program. It has been about a half-day without any screen problems. If it doesn't work, I'll take your advice and set the interval higher. I usually only have about 5-10 people in queue at one time.

I take it that you have reset intervals ?
Have you tried the help forum on Leechammer ?
Never happens to me.
Leave it running most of the time myself 5min. intervals. If I have a chance with no UL's DLS I restart whenever I can just to make sure as I've read about this.

How long do you leave it on at one time?

All night. I get home around 5pm, and leave it running all night. Leave around 7AM So maybe 10-12hrs a night.
Don't leave it on during day. Have 5 kids and wife, they have a tendency to mess around with computer during the day.
I only have 20gigHD.Share 3-4gigs music. Maybe your selection is bigger and you get more hits than I. ???????

I don't have much trouble for that length of time. I like to leave it on for days at a time, though, and that's why I have trouble. I'm currently seeing how long it lasts with 5 minute auto-check intervals. Thanks for the help, and I'll let you know.

Just a guess, but running Leechhammer, winmx, and anything else that may be running in the background for "days" at a time, it may be innevitable that you may have to re-boot your system every now and then to reclaim your resources. Just a guess.

I've had no troubles leaving it on that long until I got LeecHammer, though.
