every available version of kazaa fails to start on my machine. im running xp pro and have attempted all the reg cleaning, adaware, and reinstalling i can handle. any ideas>??? there aare no error messages, and my machine remains stable. the program wont run. goddaammit!!

What kind of internet connection?
Do you have a firewall?

broadband. bt home 500. alcatel usb modem. no firewall. no antivirus.

Uninstall the version of kazaa you have and install the newest version of kazaa lite k++.
Get it here at www.k-lite.tk in the Downloads Section.

if the above suggestions do not work, find the exe file, go into its properties (right click, properties), then click the compatiblility tab, then check "run this in compatibility mode for" then choose another OS.

wes thanks all involved and walks off shamefully, head hung low because he realises he should have looked into this further before consulting others.
